This lecture will discuss if there is a contradiction between placing high demands on students or caring for their emotional well-being. Can these teaching philosophies be combined? What are the parameters that most influence student achievement according to research? Who do we define as “champion teachers”? Those who create significant personal ties with students or those who bring high results and achievements? These questions will be discussed in a lecture that combines research studies and examples of everyday school life. This lecture will provide tools, methods of action, and inspiration for meaningful educational work.
